I got a rear fender and it has 3 to 4 cracks in it. I can plastic weld but that doesn't hold up with vibrations. I thought about an epoxy and a small patch. Most of the cracks are under the seat area so having patches won't matter. I'm just seeing what everyone else does in this scenario.

Is this on the 90? I ran over my 77 90 years ago with my pickup (on accident) and trashed the fender.... I fiberglassed the fender back together last summer. I didn't paint it just sanded it fairly smooth. It's holding up just fine. Is the fender you're looking to fix plastic or fiberglass?... This is the best pic I have of it right now...

I wonder if something more flexible like liquid nails would hold up to vibrations. Mine are plastic. Were the old ATC 90 fenders plastic?

drill small holes along both sides of the crack and stitch it back together with zip ties.

Don't know about him but I am hoping to find a way to fix the crack that looks good too. Or at least better.

90 fenders were fiberglass, 110's were plastic

This is for my 110. Plastic fenders. I repaired the atc 90 with a fiberglass repair kit. I picked up some plastic expoxy at ace hardware. I think I'm going to try using a patch.

Make sure and drill a small hole at the end of the cracks so they don't continue to propagate.

I've heard of people using heavy fishing line stitches too, then coat it with something to lock 'em in place

Is plastic welding really not a good idea? I thought that is what most people stitched their fenders up with. I need to repair my 250sx and my 250r fenders and I was about to invest in a cheap plastic welder.
