Gas in oil ??

i drained the oil out of this sx i been working on today!! WOW!! the whole rear is off, and its up on the lift, i take the fill cap off and the stuff starts shooting out!! put it back in, like what the F. take the drain plug out there must have been a 1/2 gallon of fuel mixed with the oil!! My ? is will this damage any of the seals in the engine?? I know it probably sat like that for quite some time. Petcock was left on.

just got the seal i was waiting for for the shaft portion of the rear diff, so i hope to have it up and running this weekend. It did run when i bought it, but I only drove it a few hundred yards before i loaded it up cause the rear end was so shot. Its been apart since. But it didnt leak anywhere before, so hopefully it will be alright

Seals are rubber and a petroleum based product just as gas and oil are, your all set.........

I've been cleaning crap with gas for 25 years, no problems......
