I went home to my parent's farm for Easter and while I was there I was working on a few of my trikes.
While I was out in the shop, my Mom brought out the photo album and showed me a picture of when I was 13 years old riding my first trike.
When I was 10 I really wanted a trike, so my Dad bought me a couple calves to raise over the winter and sell them at auction in the spring. With the profit, I purchased my first ATC 70 brand new from the Hully Gulley Honda dealership near London Ontario (I'm pretty sure it was a 1986 model).
So I decided to scan the pictures and post them - let's see vintage pictures from the 80s of you and YOUR trikes!
These photos were taken 3 years after I bought it just before I sold it for my first dirt bike (big mistake, I know!! lol). Here's 13-year-old Xhumeka riding his first trike:

Well.....at the risk of them being removed for no helmet....here's a few of mine. Keep in mind that these are from the late '80s and early '90s. If these were current, there would be helmets in them. (End disclaimer)
The '86 Tri-Z was bought new in 1987.

These 2 pictures are really crappy - but these were taken in the summer of 1985 when our trikes were less than 1 year old. (Stupid 110 cameras~! Anybody remember those?)

This is not me but my girlfriend on her first trike. The beast that got her hooked and now me many years later (only 70s as i don't have anywhere to ride bigger bikes yet), It was taken about 20 years ago. The bike is gone but the awesome helmet still lives, her mum even pulled it out when we draged home our most recent 70

Dude, I grew up on Vans.. :-) Used to go down to the store at Beach blvd and Garden Grove and order them with special colors. I used to drive a semi and was leased on to Ben Shinn Trucking in Eddyville, Iowa and used to go to Muscatine quite a bit. Used to load out of Alcoa at Davenport a lot too.
