Ive got my Tecate motor, the engine has had the top end off for a while, some dust has gotten into the crankcase and bearings, nothing horrible. Is it possible to flush it well? the seals are good and it turns over, trans is good, but I have to get that part cleaned out good. I was thinking of filling the crankcase with either gasoline or diesel:twisted:/ carb/brake cleaner and just flushing shaking the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro out of it. A guy told me on here, but do not remeber what he used. I really dont want to split the cases because it is only where the crank is and kind of easy.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd use kerosene, its got good cleaning and foaming action, oily too. Shake it around a bunch and repeat until fluid comes out clean.

I put mix gas from the tank in or straight gas. shake it around and then drain and repeat it a couple times.

I would use diesel and mix a little bit of 2 stroke oil in to get into the bearings, or just pour some in after your cleaner of choice to keep things lubed.

Kerosene is basically what is used as parts cleaner! its oily and not as corrosive to the rubber seals! gas with 2 stroke oil works to or! HEY just add oil kick it a few times DRAIN IT then add nice fresh oil! just a thought as well!
