ATC/TRX 125 Ignition dillema

I put a pair of trx 125's together for my nephews 2 years ago and all was well until 1 lost spark. I swapped the CDI and coil from the running one, disconnected both kill wires and swapped the stator and CDI pickup with known good ones. I only get 1 spark when it's first pulled and then nothing. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the first generation TRX? Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a wire grounding out somwhere on the harness, trace down every single wire on you harness, that should be the culprit. This usually happens when your firing wire in bare and touching metal.
