I can't bleed the brakes. No nipple, line in bottle, and i lost my syringe and can't get one locally? I think it's the line. The master squirts it out when i put my finger on it.

With everything hooked up the line in the bottle gets some air, going into it the bottle, but sucks fluid back up into the line. I tried waiting a few moments for the fluid to drain into the bottle, after each pump, but no go. Also I tried filling the bottle line with fluid, no go, it gets like 3 inches above the bottle and it's done.

BTW the bottle is on ground level.

Now the next problem, I guess we could say. My bike is surging when I get on it. Kinda like a 2-stroke..Eh kinda. it has power, then it kicks it up. I think my clutch might not be adjusted all the way. all I have to do is pull the handle half a inch and it's starting to engage. I have a new plates and pads.

I've always said that 6' of clear line and suk away will bleed any system. Just don't suk up the fluid, close the bleeder and start again. The bleeder itself can collapse and plug so check it out; esp. those 2 side holes that get corroded. If you can't squirt or suk fluid out of ther easy, something isn't working.

Any Veterinarian hospital has syringes WITHOUT needles so they won't think your a junky...............Bring the hose that fits very snug on the bleeder. That has had a 100% success ratio for me for years now. I've asked for the largest syringe and sometimes I still need another piece of hose to get it air tight. It has to push on very hard to be airtight........

Surging?? ANY and ALL clutches ought to have a 16th or 1/8th of freeplay at the case lever, then the plates seperate, it's that simple. If you have freeplay yet still an issue (slipping etc) then something else is wrong.

What does a clutch have to do with "surging"? I'm confused........ I've felt 4 strokes "kick in" so to speak when I was to lean. But you have to seperate these issues because otherwise it's very confusing and hard to try and help you................

I can have a bike jetted completely off, but I still know if the clutch is working.

IDK, maybe your confused. Clutches don't "kick in"; They either work right or don't but it's an entirely different issue from "surging".

Your trike and ALL manual clutches have "freeplay" and nothing more. if you think it's slipping and then kicks in, thats not the problem............ I have no idea what your thinking by saying "I think my clutch might not be adjusted all the way". In it's rest position, think of it as an engaged gear. Your cable just seperates the plates but if it it has NO freplay then it will most certainly slip. But it won't engage later on, it will slip the whole time..........................

Well I think it's more of a problem with the jetting or internal, yesterday I rode about a mile, turned onto my gf's rode. First, second, third, then into 6th to cruise. It died, and I haven't been able to start it. It ran perfect that day as well, it was so weird and I had no signs it was going to die. Didn't try today, but I'm picking it up tomorrow and checking it out. I'm having bad luck with my X. haha

Havn't been able to get my trike back yet. Hopefully tomorrow. In gear, clutch in does nothing. Neutral works and rolls. I have a brand new clutch. Hopefully the basket didn't break or something.

Ok I got a brake fluid pump thing (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260593113718&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT) and still no brakes. What am I doing wrong? This thing fills it ups, and still nothing.

Sounds like the master cylinder is bad.
Did you get it running again?

Yeah it's running, right finally. The jets just weren't seated right. It's almost stock :naughty:

All right, my friend said the same thing. Except my master could not be letting out all the way. I'm going to re-building it then for sure, and checking it out.
