Common Problems 350x

What are the most comon problems with the 350x motors or are they pretty much bullet proof?

There werent enough of them sold.... Loved both of my 86 350X's... Ran like a top, and never did anything more to them than rebuild a carb. 25 years olds and still kicking strong!

Clutch seems kinda weak in them, imo

not much wrong with the motor, you do see alot of broken case covers, and exhaust studs...from neglect!! clutches do go after 20 yrs, and your normal piston ring and valves after alot of use.

Backwards oil filters. Otherwise, the top-end would be mint....................

Weight.

Plenty of power. (good issue) :lol:

Those are the only other issue I'm aware of.......
