I can get a good deal on new bear claws for the big red. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I didn't have them on a 3 wheeler before but did have them on a 4x4 quad... they did pretty good unless you get in some real soupy mud

Man I have a 225 dr with bear claws, and i am going to tell you one thing they are the best tire i have ever seen or used, they are completly sick! they are so awesome i mean they get so much traction its unbievible in the snow/mud there the best tires man, i would strongly suggest if you can get these tires cheap for your bike get them, trust me you wont regret it.

I have a pair on my ytz250 and i love em! i find i run them really light on air pressure ( just enough to keep em on the bead) because they seem to be really thick, but there super tough!

They are a great tire! I run the 25-12.5-9 on my 250SX. They hook well onto dirt, gravel and do great in mud and water. If you keep the speed up they do well in snow, but can dig in. They are a tough tire; I've been over many sharp rocks and pointy roots and sticks and have had no damage. I've had them on only about two full seasons of riding and they are not wearing down much. The edge of the lug is starting to show some cuts and wear at the edge, but these tires should last years.

I am going to use these tires again on my other SX.

I just picked them up... 22x12x9 on honda steel rims for $50.00 for the pair! So far they tear up the sod in my back yard quite nicely...

I've had a set of the 26" ones on my 4x4 for over 2 years now and they work really well. In fact, they grab a little too good in some situations and the 500cc full time 4WD can't turn them in the deep stuff like they need. I went through some deep mud pits last weekend with them and my little, old 4x4 with an open front diff went everywhere the big boys did on their 650 V-twin Kawies and 700cc Yamahas that have lockers up front.

I have them on my 200, they are one of my favorite tires. They'll kill your yard quick but are fun wherever you take them. Especially in mud holes :naughty:

My cousin had a set on his Polaris 500 an never been in a place that he could not turn them.. he had it barried up to the seat in mud and it still turned them.. olny time he could not turn a tire is when he had some crazy mud tires with over 1.5" tread on it.

One of the rental companies I wrench for has them on all their 450 Wolverines. They are really tough tires and get excellent traction in the rough stuff. They don't wear out very fast either. They work fairly well in sand also. They are a bit on the heavy side.

I like them in the mud and on the trail , but I find them too much in the snow. They dig them selfs down to much in the snow.

I had Maxxis Surtracks and those Bear Claws are the same tread. I used 22x10x10 on an LT250R. I really liked them in either direction but they were too HEAVY, but heavy duty (for abuse).
