Is this a difficult job to do on my 1985 atc 250R? Thks

Its not a hard job if you know what your doing. If you have never split cases it would be best if you watched someone do it first. Especially if you dont have the proper tools like case splitter and crank wedge. Usually a shop will charge about 4 hours shop time to split and reassemble cases if you hand them your whole engine.

There is only one crank seal, and it is on the right side of the motor, have to pull the clutch and gears out and then you can replace the seal.

???? one seal... I just rebuilt my bottom end and I know for a fact there are 2 seals cause I installed both of them. In fact pretty much every 2 stroke engine has 2 crank seals.
