How do you check a 1978 ATC 90 coil.

I am trying to figure out how to test a 1978 ATC 90 coil..
Any info would be great. I really dont want to put the engine and harness all back in.

My local shop ha an old school coil tester. It thows power through the coil and then a spark jumps these to poles. You then move the poles farther apart to see how strong the spark is.
