I picked up the Tricub last week. It looks and runs really good for being 40 years old. It has the optional metal flake body and ski kit. I've never seen another Tricub with the metal flake. It will take some effort to fully restore, but overall a very nice, original example. No mods except it has a newer B/S 5hp engine. I'll be looking for a decent set of those long discontinued, one-piece balloon tires. I created albums for the Tricub http://www.3wheelerworld.com/album.php?albumid=205 and Tricart http://www.3wheelerworld.com/album.php?albumid=204. The photos of the Tricart are some random before, during and after shots of the restoration.

Even Mrs tricartman took the Tricub for a spin.

Yeah, there's just something cool about 70's metal flake paint.

There was a guy that rode one of those to my house about 15 years ago. It was the only one I had ever seen until now.

I like that thing a lot. I had a trike like that, but it wasn't exactly the same. People who saw us riding it described it as "A wheel-barrel with a motor on it".

I see you have three and others have responded that they have one. How many are out there and what information is available on them? I am the original owner of the one that I have. It has the luggage rack option due to the torque and the ability to flip over on hills. I replaced the wheels with rim models and found them to be much more dependable. I have the parts manual and the advertising brochure. Look forward to your response.
