I have a problem. I bought a motor for my uncle's atc 110. I didn't relize that his atc 110 has points ignition system. I got a motor off ebay but it has a cdi ignition system. My question is can I swap out the cdi for the points ignition system? I think I can I just have to change the housing from the old motor and put it on the new motor and install all the stuff that goes with the points system. The old motor is a 1980, the new motor is a 1983. Will this work? Or will I run into some kind of problem? Any help would be great before I tear into this project. Thanks
