Old School Technology v/s The 660 Raptor...

Me and my Tecate crew called out the local 660 Raptor guy today for some 300ft fun in the field, needless to say my 1985 kxt250 put the smack down on his built, and cammed out Craptor over and over and over again......! :naughty:

good job. i love hearing stories like that. i know many here on the board ride and enjoy other types of toys, but im very loyal and one sided towards trikes. i see quads and bikes come and go on craigslist (rarely affordable i might add) but none ever even come close to sucking me in like the 3wheelers do. maybe im being foolish, but to me the 3wheeler is far superior to anything else ive seen out there and i grew up with all kinds of carts and dirt bikes, street bikes, wave runners, old school stand up jet skis, 4 wheelers. i even race a camaro at the local dirt track, but when i get there i cant wait to unload the 3wheeler and cruise the pits showing off !

Thanks guys.....he is good guy who lives locally in my town! We were were all sitting around bench racing at our local Yamaha dealersip, when the subject of racing was brought up! So my buddy decided to call him out, pretty much pimping me out to go race the guy! So the gaunlet was layed down and the rest was history! He really had nothing to say about his misfortunent episode with my Tecate a.k.a. "Doom", other than he couldn't get the RPM's up high enough, what ever that means! Chalk one up for the "trikers"......

raptors really arnt that fast, buddy of mine had a 720 stroker stage 3 cam 12:1 piston, hinson clutch, full pipe and other little mods on his 660r and my naibors piped banshee with wiesco pistons was faster.
and i know a guy with a 86 trx250r thats faster, and at the dunes piped 450s were right next to the raptor all day. to me raptors are cool but on the bottem of the bigdog list
