well, the other one was an awesome build and everywhere I go everyone seems to enjoy it. Im going at it again.going to build this one a little different.
this is what I'm working with; another 185s except its an 83. i was told it runs good but we couldnt get it to run. hit a couple of times but nothing.

removed the forks and shipped them to a guy in mass. to trade for unsuspended forks that would be easy to lengthen.

well needless to say some people just suck. we got the forks and they were bent back about 4 inches so we had to fully customize them so we kinda went all out on this thing.
heres a layout plan.

I cringe whenever I see one of these threads. Not for me in any way, shape or form. I'm glad you have others liking it though. And this looks like a real Billy Lane replacement. LOL How is old Billy doing in jail now? I hope he has many inmates giving him lots of sexy time. LOL

Normally I would agree with this statement, but this guy won me over with his last project. Great workmanship for sure.

How does it ride? You know, those tubes weren't meant to be stressed at that angle, friend.

04-05-2010, 10:17 PM
ok, I have received a few questions about brakes. the front brake works on both these choppers. I used the rear hand brake cable up front. the rear footbrake stays stock. shifter stays also. the only actual fab I do is to the forks and frame. Cheap parts on ebay. they can always be put back to original with those two parts.

It rides the same, hard. Im a cruiser not a speedster. your right I'll cut it up and take it to the scrapper.
my fork angle is less than 43 degrees. I think it could handle it. thanks for your concern. check this out. http://www.harleycustom.com/Prod-Tolle_Scandinavian_Motorcycles_AB_-_Chopper_Forks-10-19.html
Im not even close to that. also I raise the head tube almost vertical so they look raked more than they are.

Dude, that totally rocks. You know what I see when I look at that? It's like telling the world to f--- off, and the CSPC to take a large metal rod and jam it up their a--. I would so ride that up an down my block until a cop rolled up and started harassing me. I just might wind up in jail pleading my constitutional rights. It's like saying, look at me, I took what is unsafe, and made it even more unsafe, yet I look so dam cool your pathetic liberal tree hugging a-- secretly wishes it was me. Yes, I have big basketballs. I would randomly flip people off as I rode by.

Thanks guys for the great and even greater negative comments.lol I built these for me and my brother to ride. and I hope this inspires someone else to build somethin cool

holding up great! we are having a blast on them.buddy of mine wants mine for a trade. I m going to build another for myself. We have been riding them every weekend since I got them done the only issue I have is I think we need to run a little taller gearing because of the 18 inch tires. I'll have pics soon of my bros trike.
I dont know what everybody is talking about it not being a trail machine but we have been riding with the best of them. even going where some quads will not. I think people shouldnt make judgements unless they rode it. it is not a 200x,350x,250r.
the welder is great for the money.

hey dude, IMO, you have given birth to an exciting new era of 3 wheeling. I am seriously considering doing something to that extent. But I want to incorperate some sort of suspension, maybe out of a 200x frame. As with most things in this world, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some like it, some dislike it. The important thing is to recognize the fact that another trike will live on, touching many more lives and giving many more smiles. Isn't that what the whole idea behind pleasure motorsports?
