having a hard time getting this axle nut off. is it the same as removing the axle from every other honda atc?

No, it's arse backwards.....

It expand or spread to tighten the brake rotor to a c-clip you cannot see (it's under the right of the large nut). You have to think opposite.

If it's a clapped out X then most likely you will need heat but go the right way (per the manual) before you strip the outside...................

yes , loosen the nut by pulling away from the bike.

They are BOTH left hand threads.

Yup reverse threads! watched someone who didnt listen to me strip it out with a 24" Adjustable wrench

Good to know its LH. That would make for some pointless pulling otherwise.

But on second thought. You may need to get her good and hot. I just did one for a member and it needed to see some heat. This axle had never been out since new. It was ON there. Once I got it off it was alright but then the brake hub was frozen SOLID! That took a ton of heat and a special air hammer bit to remove gingerly. All said and done, some come apart super easy. Some NOT!

I still cannot get the axle out on my 200E and the bearings are so shot, it twists when you turn from the play. Insane....

thats good to know i would have been in the same boat being like what the heck cause i am putting a extended axle on my 350x when i get home from this deploment i have a +4 dura blue i a putting on her
