I'm trying to get my 86 tecate started. Just put a new ripens on it. New plug getting good fire. Plug is wet when pulled out so I know I'm getting fuel. I think it may b in the timing. I found the little notch at 12 o'clock, lined it up with the middle mark on the stator and found top dead center and put the flywheel on. The notch on the flywheel is lined up with the stator and crankcase notch. Is this the correct way to time a two stroke? Please help
