It started with a mint shape 1985 Big RED 250 es on the local net, I noticed it had a snow plow and cover chains. So since I have two almost mint bikes already I thought it would be great to get the snow plow and cover. Guy wont sell seperate, its not a home made snow plow its one of those <,whatever brands I have seen here, ATC cover athentic and the bike is almost new all around. Problem you see is I just bought a 85 250 es a couple weeks ago and now I gotta buy this one just for the snow plow and cover...hmmm..maybe I sell the one i got a couple weeks ago,,would your wife fall for that story ??? mines seems rather open to idea but , I ,may have to pay later.

2500 bucks for the package, help me talk me down tell me its a bad idea to buy a snow plow and now twp extra reds, hey by the way how to you guys afford to insure all your bikes so people can ride them ??

I dont let others ride them... (other than my buddy for the last 20 years, he is the only other guy around here that knows how to ride a trike)

If spending another 2500 wont put you in a financial bind, I say buy it. You only live once...

I buy my extras for visitors, I insure all for collision, theft and 2 million liability , costs about 225 a year to do so. All my nephews and buds are familar with the trikes, I find Big REDs are manageable if driving slow. As far as buyng this new find I know when I go see it (bike in one town and the snow plow in another) I will end up buying it. It is original owner and all plastics are mint, figure I could sell the ATC hondaline cover alone for a couple hun, and worse case senario the bike will always be worth 2000 here , remember up here these are used very very little in summer by the old boys.

I try to get the ugly ones (trikes, that is)

The I roll them into the orchard with the rest of the misbehaviours and mysteriously pull them out one at a time a few weeks apart.

Oh, How long have you had that one?

oh, geeze, I dont even remember.

hard to do that with pretty ones.

Women understand shiney objects

I almost got away with the latest 87 br, why do you need another one, you already have an 85?
well the carb on that '85 has not been updated with the recall cold start fiasco, and her 84 es br start and runs and idles.

hmm, how do i do this?

well I can't kickstart the 85 900 times to get it going so I need one that works.so I can get my farm chores done faster and get more work done.
..so we can spend more time together and maybe even take them to the dunes for a long romantic weekend, if we catch up on our work around here.

so I guess now she gets the 85 es after i do the cold start jet, I get to keep the 87
and we sell her 84es..but that one is disturbingly dependable and cost us a total of 100 bucks.

I know...
thats why we join support groups.

ps - I've never heard of anything other than liability insurance coverage for any kind of motor driven cycles

I would love to find some insurance.

I have homeowner, business ins for rentals, a million liab and 100,000 med pay on all my cars but cannot get anything other that
liability for any kind of bikes, street or off road.

Never an accident or anythng other than parking tix in 30 years since I got my license.

Any idea what company might sell in oregon?

I make kids read the motorcycle license book and then test each other..and then restrict them to 2nd gear.

Generally, anyone who hasn't bled profusely fixing the godblessed things does NOT get to ride.

They dont understand what it takes to get them, fix them, keep them up and all for some yayhoo to jump on it and smoke a clutch
or worse.....

So I went to get my snow blade, atc cover and mint "almost new" 1985 Big REd 250 es second owner and he bought it 16 years ago from nieghbor who used tit in winter only down his driveway for snow removal. I mean this thing was new,. So the guy took a money order late the night before even though I was driving all the way out to get it. What a fark*&^&^ azz OLLLL, who has no regard for my time or gas. I got to see the blade it was a cycle country and a 400 buck original cover . SO which one you guys scooped me ???? actually I'm not sure if it was here but soon as I mentioned it here all of sudden gone..my next find I think I will talk about it after its on my trailer

Gotta call peter

He wrote a program that will alert me when keywords pop up for sale on C list
