What are the 2 holes used for, to mount what on this 85 250R lower tripple tree ?

Not sure as I dont have a 250r! My guess would be for the optional light guard! Hope this helps......

On my 200X the headlight frame/mount slips into those holes, and is bolted to the top triple. I don't know if it is the same as a 250R.

Headlight guard, nothing goes in them otherwise...

Thanks guys. Not a R guy so I was not really sure what went there.

Its for Hondaline stuff. Head light guards, and fender braces to mount to. Maybe more too.
