Wassup fellow trikers. I've just pickin up this trike hobby, always tried to stay away in fear of getting addicted. Well, here I am fellow addicts!! Had to have another one, so I put an ad in the paper. Went and picked up this 84 200ES for $50. Supposedly they bought it running 3 years ago, they took it home and never got it started.
Needs new front shocks or more than likely a new fork. The nut that holds the forks tight to the tube is loose, so probably new bearings, turns and feels good, hope for the best. Tank has 3 year old gas in it. Rusted the cap, but the tank looks freshly "kremed." New rear brake lever and front tire(wish they woulda just kept air in the new/old one), and hopefully something easy for the no starting fix. Wish me luck!

and My favorite wish is for deadbike people to at least DRAIN the float bowls...THE most preventable headache in my world.
Of course those cabs are everywhere and tons easier than the 85 and newer.
We all said a little prayer that you have consistent spark.
Congrats

Yea, when the lady called me about it, I had to ask her the price again befor i hung up. Hard to stay calm w/ a price like that! Was hopin it was a match for my 85 250ES, but now the wife has a ride. She's alread claimed to it!!
Mudbug, thanx for the heads up. That's why I put the pic up, knew she was loose, but I'm gonna pull it off and check the bearings. Thanx for the description (steering stem nut)!! Exactly the words I was looking for.

You can't go wrong for that price. Throw a few hundred dollars at it and you've still got a good deal. Hopefully the no start issue is easy enough to sort out.
