My dad has his '85 Honda 250R with a set of Pro Wedges on the back. This thing hooks up so well, that the second you try to gas it around a corner or berm, the thing 2-wheels and gets tippy. I think this is because the tires hook up too well, what can be done to try and make it better?

I thought about that, would wheel spacers also do the trick to fatten it out? What sizes do they come in and where can you get them?

Pro-Wedge are tall tire for a 250R. I think stock they had 20" tires and the Pro-Wedge are 22", so it make the center of gravity higher. If you don't want to change the tires for smaller one, I would suggest wheel spacer, offset rims or an extended axle.

IF, you're going to keep the tires get some three inch extensions. That's the least expensive way to go. That's assuming that if you have offset rims the wide part of the offset is to the outside also.
