Couple of questions on my 90

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what this little ring on the back of my 90 is? Also, if this is a 185/200 front end on my 90, am I missing a return spring here? I have to manually push the lever back. Thanks!

The ring is a handman special LOL trailer hitch and not factory . I dont think their is a spring on that shaft , sounds like the brake springs are weak and the cable is in need of replacing . Can try and lube the cable

yeah, I hung the cable straight and lubed the crap out of it... helped a little, but didn't fix the problem...

Is the lube getting all the way down the cable? You can get new ones for around $10. Sounds like your brake internals might need some lubrication too. That spring above your arrow should push that lever back into place.
