View Full Version : hey 84,85 tecate guy's what type of bars are you running

hi guys looking to up grade my bars on my 84 tecate.what is a decent set of bars to run that are not that pricey.also i dont want a real low rise bar maybe medium to high ?.what type of grips do you guys like to run.
if any one has a set of 85 rear rims for sale let me know i dont need tires.i have blue label rears right now one is bent real bad.or just one blue lable rear will work too! thanks for the help

I'm still running the stock bars on my 84. I use pro taper half waffle grips. My 85 has a set of old answer handle bars on it. I would like to try a pair of Renthals though.

I am currently running CR Hi's on my 84 Tecate. I am running Scott Comp IIs for grips, so comfy...

Mine has an old set of Fly's on it right now that I took off the banshee when I replaced them with Pro tapers...

just put a set of Pro taper CR Hi's on mine as well, I found the 400 EX bend I have on the R a bit to high, Scott Hurricane grips as always.

lol... I don't know....Haven't had a chance to ride it since I put the bars on!.... I generally ride standing up alot so higher bars let me stand up straight...although that may not work well on the 3 wheeler..I'm still getting used to it...
