I got a 1983 Atc 185s and it has the solid front forks and is kind of a bumpy ride when your on the trails so I was thinking what if you took the whole front fork from a 200x or a 250r and put it on the 185 it would make it look alot better dont really care for the fat front tire. Would it fit?? and if so would there be anything I would have to modify to it??

The easiest way to get front suspension is to use an 83 185S front end. Or a 200S.
The 200x front end needs some modification to fit. The 'neck' of the frame on the 185s is too long and would need to be cut down about 2". The 185s/200s front suspension forks bolt right on.
