is this a fair price?

im talking to a guy about the trike pictured but i have never ridden a kawasaki 3 wheeler. how do they compare to the 185s and 200es? its a 250 and he said it has new tires, starter, and battery. he said it does not smoke at all and runs very strong. does 500 sound a like a fair price for this?

my freind had the quad version of that trike. ive never had any of the smaller hondas, but i did have a 110 kawasaki. to me they arent much better than lawn tractors lol. but for utility they seem like a decent ride. as far as i know the biggest problem with them is finding parts when things do break.... to me its like a 200$ machine tops, but depending on were u are and what u are into then maby. im probably no help. but thats my .02

Nope thats a Kawi fork....$300-350 if you did get it.........how deep is the mud you wanna get into?? remember anything can get stuck in the mud but as far as using a 350X for mudding well thats up to you

that kawasaki is perfect for the mud agreed 200 or maybe 250 tops. i wouldnt want to take a 350x through mud it isnt really designed for that but thats just me.

The problem with these is that they don't really know what they want to be. A utility trike with a manual clutch? What's up with that? And they drive like a brick. Nah, I'd pass on this one personally.

What's with everyone saying a 350X isn't for mud? I can see if he's talking about waist-deep mud, but he said "ankle deep slushy clay". If I recall correctly, the 350X is an off road machine. And you guys wouldn't take it in the mud? C'mon! That's what the thing was made for! I take my Tecate through mud and streams that are deeper than the height of the tires, and that's a dedicated MX machine. The 350X is more of an all-around machine and is even better in the mud than my Tecate.

I agree. With a set of aggressive tires (22" Bear Claws are pretty good all around and priced right) you could have a great time in the mud with your X. I just have Turf Tamers on my X and it does pretty well in the mud. The 200X is lighter but the 350X has the power to turn a set of mud tires even in the deep stuff.
