ive got a 85 atc 250r project. its got an trx250r motor its had a bunch of stuff done to it, like crank port polish second bore i think its a 265 if i remember right,also has boyensee reeds and a dg pipe and silencer, k n filter. ive got a keihin pe 35mm carb coming for it from ebay. i was wondering about what size jet i should be using and what size is stock

Kiehin PE, thats the round slide one, right? With the other stuff you have done to that motor, you really should be using a PWK or PWM series D-slide type carb. They are much better to tune and work better IMO. If you had a 35mm PWK, as a rich leaning ball park I'd say 185 main, bottom notch on the needle, and a 55 pilot. Realistically, you'd probably end up around a 170 something main, middle clip on the needle and a 52 pilot, but always start rich and work your way down.
