QCR, Please tell me you remove the 350x rear fender for transporting? I hope you put that inside of your tow vehicle? There have been a few horror stories of trikes losing their rear fender while being towed.

yup its a 2stroke silencer. its what it came with and was at the bottom of my list of parts to buy. when i got this thing it was all torn up and missing parts. real ugly. anyway, i fixed it up all nice and never did find a good deal on a 4 stroke silencer so its still on there

i havent left yet , but i will be putting it inside my truck. that'd be the last thing i need right now, is to look in the rearview and notice my fender is gone

thanks. im headed down to corpus christi (gulf coast) for work, but am gonna go riding with my lil' bro tomorrow and then next saturday. it should be outta control on the beach with all the spring breakers down. lucky for me, i quit drinking 2 years ago. so it'll be good, clean, sober fun with lots of eye candy. nobody else will be touching the X and my lil bro will prob be the only one on the BR. (only when he's sober) cant wait !!

a BiiiiiiiiiiiiG FAT UGLY chain!!!!!!! to tie them up to the trailer or each other even if just go pee for a MINUTE!

and a cable that bolt cutter won't work on

and a car alarm
and a motion sensor

ya know?

if someone stole my $1,000 golf clubs I could at least get new ones
but blood sweat and tears and all those sleepless nights with wiring diagrams running thru our heads are hard to replace.

Wonder if homeowners or renters insurance covers these things?

drjoe171 - yeah i was gonna go tonight, but decided to wait till tomorrow. that was right after i came back from the carwash. i like to spray them with the medium pressure soap and then rinse, then spray em up and down with the engine degreaser. i'll let it sit for 10 and then high pressure rinse. i always get the chain real good, come home and dry them off with compressed air and then grease the chain back up. they comeout pretty spiffy . oh and the bikes are safe and sound in the garage.

thanks alot. its a 16' tilt bed. i use it for taking my racecar to the dirt track, but it hauls tirkes and other stuff real good too. got a nice lil' wench up front too. actually , today i rewired the lights.
BTW- you have an excellent user name. wish it was mine
