Has anyone here ever split a bottom end in a 85 250es to do a crank swap? I have a spare bottom end but I's rather use my original casings since the spare has broken mounts... reason for the change the crank broke off on the clutch side.. should I keep searhcing for a mint bottom end or is it possible to too swap these cranks? maybe without disturbing the shifting gears.. I get my book thursday hope it helps. Would like ot hear if anyone has had to do this though.. cheers!:beer
