I have the day off and planned on working on the car, but with the cold weather and rain I decided to rearrange the stuff in the garage and yard. I finally made room for my 250r roller thats been sitting on the trailer for 3 weeks now. That said, I loaded the trike up to haul it around back and decided what the heck.. Drove it down to motor vehicle and had the thing inspected. Went and bought a bond for it and had a title in hand in about 2 hours.
So now I can say I am the proud legal owner of my 85R. Ive got the motor in a box all apart, and now I can buy the parts to put it back together. I hate to spend money on something without a title, it would really piss me off if I went to title it after its running to find out its stolen. Plus if I decide to sell it, I believe a title maybe may not make it more valuable, but it does make it sell easier. jim

motor is in a box, new stator, moto didn't come with a piston. tranny is wrapped nicely, cases aren't damaged. rod feels tight.

Sell the tire to pay for the parts, lol....

It's the OEM tire and it's discontinued. Some people think it's the only front tire to have and they are changing hands for good money.

Of course the folks hating on the Front Max, which is a perfectly functional front tire with great handling/steering characteristics, will wish they had a Front Max when Kenda discontinues it because of low sales, and all that's available in an 11" tire is a 4x4 utility tire..
