I'm getting ready to try some mx racing in Maine this summer. I have a set of 18x11x10 fast trekkers and I need to find a good wheel to match to the tires for the rear of a "86" 250R. I'm hoping I can get a wheel with inner and outer reinforcing rings.

The only thing I have found is the ITP T-9 Pro Series Baja wheel (10x8) but the 10 inch wheel only comes in a 8" width. Will the 8" width of these wheels work with the 11" width of the tire.

The only other wheel I found was a Douglas .190 (10x10). These do not have the reinforcing rings but have the 10" width.

Do I need a 10x10 or will a 10x8 work for a 18x11x10 tire. Thanks

I use to run 8x8 itp bead locks on my trx with 18x11x8 holeshots with no problems.

You dont need to be running a 10" wide wheel with that set up. With your tire stretched that far you wont have hardly any sidewall flex plus it will make your rim more prone to getting smacked and bent. 10x8 is the most common size with an 11" wide tire. Next if your looking for bead locks I sell alot of the Douglas OMF bead lock wheels. If you want to get really trick you can buy the billet center OMF bead locks

I am using the same size tires with Douglas 10X9 .190 wheels, so far mine are holding up well. No reinforcing rings.
