i have very little time on this bike so far but just thought i would give my thoughts and continue it through the year as i get more time on it.

for the first time out i just needed to get use to the bike. Bill had the stock swingarm on it so i could make a comparison between it and the +2 that i was going to run in the second race. this way i could decide if i wanted a +1 or +2 on the bike that he is building for me. it was not set up like i am use to (as far as clutch and stock back shock and control positions) so it made it much harder than i thought. it had a Rekluse clutch stock swingarm and stock back shock. i went out to practice and knew right off the bat that i wanted the longer swingarm. especially with the hit that the CRF cam had right in the middle. to top it off, i had little clutch control because of the Rekluse clutch. with all this i had a hard time keeping the front end down.

for the second race Bill put the +2 swingarm on with the PEP shock. about 2 days before the race i talked to bill and asked if he could put in the stock clutch and stock cam. as it turned out, the CRF cam may have ben fine but i was not sure at that time. after riding it with the +2 swingarm i knew right away that this trike was going to be awesome. then to top it off, with the clutch back in my control i loved it even more. for me a Rekluse clutch and the hole shot don't mix. my friends love it but i can't do it.

my overall thoughts so far is that it is as close to what Honda would have made as you can get. it is nice to know anywhere you go with this bike you will be able to get parts. even find them in stock. a large part of it was developed by Honda so all the aftermarket people have performance parts that are ready to bolt right on.
i am looking forward to riding it again
