Just added this 83 200E to my small collection. It has spark so it looks like I'm off to a good start!

Update; Just cleaned the carb, tank, changed oil, plug, air filter, and I'm up and running. I was pleasantly amazed when I took the carb apart to clean it. It was nearly factory clean, no stripped screws, varnish, gunk, etc. The frame has very little rust, motor is quite clean as shown in photos. This must have been garage kept, its too clean. The wheels throw me off though, they are red one isn't, tires are nice and did well in deep snow. I was told one of the kids went over the handlebars and it was pretty much parked after that. I think I can straighten the headlight frame. Rear plastics are very nice, front fender broke from accident as well as the choke lever assembly on the dash but carb choke works. I'll try and post some moving photos tomorrow.

I was quite surprised to get it for that. Seller thought it was a 250 BR Shaft drive but for that price I didn't care! I believe he sincerely wasn't sure. He got it from his father after his sister went over the bars and never really did anything with it. I notice the tire brands vary quite a bit with these 25-12-9's. My Yamaha 200ER tires look huge compared to these but same exact size??? I'll update the brand names tomorrow as I'm curious how there can be such a difference. I'll post a photo side by side.

Here's another photo. My son came up today to test this and the KLT160 I picked up today. The KLT tires had little tread on the rears and he had fun tearing up the snow. This Big Red he couldn't get to spin, the tires just kept grabbing and dug right in (treads like new)! Runs great! I forgot to get photos of this next to my Yamaha 200ER. The tires are quite different in size although all are 25-12-9's.
