85/86 250r Hubs/spline interchange thread

Hey guys,

My one hub is bent, and I need a new one. Just wanted to see what cross references into working on my trike?

400ex? 450r? 300ex? 250ex?

I did some searching and came up empty handed, unless im using the wrong terms. Someone hook me up!

Swingin i know your all about this! you were in almost every thread about hubs/splines!

Kintore, I don't think anything interchages with the R's (ATC's or TRX's). Maybe the 350X, but even that I'm not sure about. Hopefully I'm very wrong.
I'm sure the guys will chime in shortly. Sorry I can't be of any help.

R hubs wont swap out. air cooled R's can but not liquid. the following swap 81-81 250r 85-86 350x, 83-87 200x, trx250x/300ex, trx400ex, trx450r.

now trx250r hubs may swap out on the liquid r...

No the 85 and 86 250r hubs will swap with the 85 and 86 350x hubs. 4x110 with 26 splines. At least I think I know what I am talking about. The 83 and 84 R's swap with the 84-85 200x as they are both 4x110 but they have a different number of splines.

so nothing really swaps out to the liquid R eh, what a pain!

Put a 400ex axle in It!! Then everything will fit. 86-87 200x, 300ex, 350x, 400ex, 450r. 250r has a bigger diameter spline.
