hey i was just wondering if steel rims ever came stock on the 200x?

As far as I know, all years came with silver aluminum wheels.

Thats what I thought, I ask because I have a pretty nice 85' mostly original except the handle bars and rear tires and i guess the rear rims. It spent a lot of time in a barn before i owned it and i dont know why anyone would replace the aluminum rims with steel???

if you have a bent alum rim that is not repairable and there is a steel rim right there that works

they prob needed new rims and put 185 or 200s wheels on it. mine came with a 185 hub....things happens over 25 years haha.
