Real close to me, says it may be a 250 big red, but it's chain driven and looks similar to my 200s. I may buy it if he will take less and sell the pullstarter (just watched one sell for like $90 shipped a week ago, used) and a few other parts and keep the exhaust.
Thanks

Looks like a plain 200 or 200s. I would offer $75 for that pile of barely usable parts.

That is what I will probably do. The only thing the confuses me is the back of the frame, it's hard to see in the second picture.
If I can get it for $75 or less I may do, just so I can sell the pullstarter and make most of my money back. I should be able to make some profit selling the rest (mudflaps, electronics) and still have some spare parts for my 200s.

looks like a atc200, or a 200s to me. I think I know who the seller is, he lives about ten mins from me

I thought I bought a basket case, but that is worse. I pickup up a 200e, with no plastic and a stripped hub/axle. For 150 but it does run/move

1983 200, not an "s" model.

1983 200, not an "s" model.
What was the difference between the two? Front suspension - I would assume the earliest 2000s - like the 185s - wouldn't have it.

The 80-83 185/200 frame is flatter in the back.
Split rear fenders. "S" model are one piece.
Front suspension = 83
