I just checked out Bikebandit and they show the oem rear tires and rims still available for the 86-87 ATC200X, are they?., I am aware the front tire is discontinued but I got real lucky today, my local honda shop had a new ohtsu oem front tire for my 200x on their shelf, the only one they had. it was only 40 bucks! I bet it would go pretty high on ebay lol. I think it's the same tire for the atc250R and 350X.

I'll give ya 45 and pay shipping, lol.

When I had my 86, they were still available. Order on Service Honda, and if they say DISCO, ask them to use InHONDA to find out if any dealers have any around.

Happy Hunting!

I compared part numbers with bikebandit on the rear wheels for the 87 200x and his are different, they are actually the 300ex and 450r wheels,,are they the same as the 200x? Is there much of a difference? they do look very similar. can anyone enlighten me on this? I would like to buy a set of new wheels and new oem rear tires

They are very similar. Same size, color, and bolt pattern.

Did the 86/87 ever have the EDIT- cast centers? like the 350X style??

I'm sure you can find good used rims, but the tires may be a bit more of a headache. Used ones from the West coast, without dry rot are what I would look for.

I know you want to keep this as OEM as possible, and I can't say I blame you!!

I put some real nice rims with Holeshots on my 87 200X:

I ride - This was after TF08 with my 20 day 200X and my 350X :D

I jump and USE my machines too!! This is an SX and why I bend all the rear axle tubes and axle itself:

There is more 87 200X info in my 20 day build thread, I think it's on the 1st page now because searching for it would make my MORE INSANE!! :beer

I think the fasted way to figure that out would be to just email sevicehonda the oem part # to see. Theyre pretty quick to get back to you. Nice find on that tire. Can't believe you got such a good deal at a Honda dealer.
