What would a Honda 185(S) be worth with a Nicholson suspended frame? It has no rear shock, and is all in pieces, but I have an opportunity to grab it or let someone in SoCal get it. Thoughts?

Does it have the front suspension? I would say an easy 100 for a starting point if its not rusted out.

I'd buy it for $100-150. The shock you could get later. I lost out a couple years ago on a nich. frame. I did get the rear rack off it or so the guy said for like $20.

They aren't worth anything, I'll give you $20 to scrap it! LOL Condition is everything. Also the material the frame is made from matters alot. Not all nicholson frames were chromoly, but the vast majority were. Also it depends on wether the frame was really abused or has any crappy repairs or busted tabs or anything like that. Without really seeing the frame and what all comes with it or wether or not the frame has been tweaked over the years, will also help determine the value. Not eveyone is prepared to properly fix a cracked chromoly frame. But they are pretty cool frames in my book though. And you can also tell by the frame if it's an early or later made frame. There are 2 people who are way more knowledgable when it comes to the Nick frames and I would be happy to put you in touch with one, but if you are going to resell, give me a yell. Several early racers got their start on Nick frames for racing.

I think this thing is ligit. I haven't seen it yet, but the guy I know who has it used to be friends with Nick Nicholson...so I think he has the real deal. He said he'd cut someone a deal if they wanted it, but I don't know what I should try to get it for. I don't "need it", but it would be a nice build.
