I like it too. Have you tried fitting a front fender on it minus the mud flap? What did you get the oil cooler off of?

Thanks for the replies I have two aftermarket front fenders in my shed that need paint I havent tried them yet . The oil cooler came with the motor when I bought it.

I"m digging on it something fierce! But....LOL You need to get that converted over to hand shift. Not sure what size engine you have going on. And once you get a front fender mounted, you may want to relocate that oil cooler to get it out in the cool moving air some. Nice trike though. That's how I like them.

Very Nice looking atc90 . Cant tell by the pics because their are no back shots but it looks like an early Nicholson racing frame .
Great job so far and I also spy a cut out HI / LO box . Their are lots more aftermarket goodies you can put on it if you really want to go wild . What is done to the Motor stroker??? LOL

Looks more like an early Johnson's Bandito frame. They changed to a flat plate to stabilise the rear seat mounts. The early frames had a tube from the frame backbone to the rear seat mount and they used to twist sideways. The one pictured has a tube.

yes it is a bandito frame. Thanks for the other info.

thanks, as far as the motor goes..the cc's are unknown. the motor came in a stock frame with low hours. i never opened up the motor to check the bore and stroke. its definatly built big and has high compression. It runs really strong for a little bike.

Thats def a nice motor and from the mods I see done to it it looks like someone put alot of time and money into it . The cases have def been split to do the sl90 tranny conversion so my guess is it might have a stroker in it to  . Does the motor have any crank case breathers to relieve the pressures of the big bore EXC ?
Go more :pics: I really dig the old atc90s with all the aftermarket goodies .:beer

Thanks again ..I think it could have a stroker crank it has lot of torque as well as bottom end power and it tries to pull my arm off when i fire it up a breather was added to the top of the cases I have a bapp oil dipstick brather going on soon...

I see your new so welcome to the site :welcome:.

Their are a few of us that really dig these old 90s . I have a few of these motors done with large strokers and its pretty easy to tell if its stroked . While the motor is running they sound much different than a stock crank and more like a 200x . The added breather is def a sign that is possibly stroked . The BAPP breather is a nice piece of bling .
