honda 250r bottom end oil

hey i draind the oild out of my 250's bottom end and was just wondering what oil o ut in if any secilty oil? also how much for the bottom end in a 1984?

The manual calls for 1.1 litres (1.2 US qt) of 10w40, but I personally use Shell Rotella-T 15w40 for all my trikes and bikes... others use gear-saver oil, it's all good in my opinion as long as you change it frequently!
