how do you drain the antifreeze out of a 1985 250r? Do i pull the water pump cover off or is their a drain somewhere? It has the orange antifreeze in it and i heard that it eats at the insides, so i want to get all the antifreeze out.

lower hose on the radiator has always worked for me. Also try pulling the pump. It will evacuate most of it. Either pull the pump, or pull the lower hose on the pump and add water do equalize it, then once its all water in the system, drain half and put in motorcycle-specific antifreeze. Car type can damage some waterpumps.
