Ive always wanted a two stroke trike and i think im getting one! im getting an airfooler tomorrow for a hundred bucks! needs some plastic and tires but thats no biggie. i think its an 82 1st generation. all i have ridden are 200x. how will the r compare to the x? thanks guys im excited!

Congrats! I bought a 85 R for the same price last weekend. I just have to get a piston kit and gaskets for it. jim

the R is a different breed I just got mine a few months ago and I come from the same background. I had a 200X for at least 7 years on a 80 ack farm when I was younger.The point being I know to respect them but I just got a little loose and the thing tossed me off like a rag doll. Not saying nothing bad i love my R. But treat it like it has a mind of it's own..lol

good score,deals like that are out there just have to keep an eye out.i picked up a 97 CR250 for $250 3 weeks ago.i personally think you will like the power of the R better than the X,but im partial to 2 strokes

hey guys just picked the bike up a couple days ago. not gonna lie, she is pretty rough. it seems to have a factory made extended swingarm, extended axle, aftermarket pipe of some kind. you guys can help me see what brand of parts these are when i post some pics up this weekend when i get to a camera. i have already pulled out the forks and triple trees and put a 200x front end on it. looks much better and it will probably handle better too i think. i do need some parts though. especially a gas tank, seat with pan, grab bar, clamp on air filter, and some more stuff. pm me if you have some. thanks alot, collin
