will the axle from a 85 200x fit on a 86. my buddy needs one badly. and i have a 85 axle.

No it will not fit. the 86 is a completely different 3wheeler from the previous years.

i know that they are completly different, but visually the axles don't look any different

they are, one is longer/shorter and I think that they are a different diameter, PLUS the way everything mounts on it it COMPLETELY different!!
