View Full Version : Just Bought A 200X today!!

hey there guys and gals.
Just bought a 200X today, 475 bucks, runs, needs rear plastics, and it has all new disc brakes, big bonus.
I have a hard time kickin it though, kinda have a bit of a stuck kick starter, bent a little and hittin somethin.
the year is 1986, and i am lovin it!

P.S. where can i get some plastics? also, what kinda pipe do you suggest for it? the stock one is kinda rotting away on me.

ohh yea, pro deal, and my dad is gettin the guys tri moto 185 2 stroke, he says it will pretty much keep up to the 200!!! comes with spare engine, tires, new front tire and both engines run, 200 canadian!!
dang whata deal eh?

if you wanna get a pipe your choices are dg or cobra i would just sand and repaint the stock pipe.

tri moto 185 2 stroke
I'm guessing you ment 175. I'm still trying to get mine jetted right but boy it has mean power band. My friend is scared of it and he has a 83R, and it kept up with his R when I had it in the power band. My tri-moto picks the front up and it jumps left when it hits the power band and it has a twist throttle. :twisted:

i am in ontario, also, ran into a snag with it, the lights are kinda jumpin in and out, like dim then bright, i am thinkin bad ground? any thoughts??
a rusted fly and stator ? maybe?

ohh, would a FMF fatty work on it? i want the same back pressure and free flow, i found one that looks sweet, all alluminum and all -P i would have re did the stock one, but it aint in great condition, big ole crack in it.

No a FMF fatty wont work they are for two stokes only. Sorry brother lol. :D
