will a 86 350x camshaft fit a 85 motor?

yes it should, your best bet is to look it up in a manual. You can find them on ebay, or download them from a link on the forum. I'm not sure of the link, hopefully one of the other members will post it up for us.

Yes defiently. You can also use the cam out of a Ascott FT500 and a few other dirtbikes.
