Please, can anyone help me find out what I can do to improve my front forks? I have them tore down to but in new seals, but I have heard of progressive rate spring and using spacers. I cant find info. on either. Please help, I need this thing back together. By the way my main purpose is jumping, and I am painfully aware in 85 Honda didnt think we would get monster air on these rockets. Thanks for any help.

I've also heard that you can use progressive springs. I haven't looked for a set for the 250R yet, but I installed a set on my Tri-z and they make a big difference. I found mine at Dennis Kirk for about 75 bucks. You can also go to a thicker wt. fork oil. If stock is 10wt., then maybe go to a 15wt. fork oil.

Yes I have progressive springs on my 250R , Very Nice & well worth the cost.

I didn't add spacers though.

Your looking for progressive suspension part# 111127. These fork springs are on e-bay right now for $65.95 BIN. If you keep on eye on ebay you can find them cheaper yet. I paid $40 + $10 shipping for a new set of progressive springs for my tri-z.

you will not need spacers with the progressives. I used 20wt in the last set I did - makes them very firm!
