so i woke up to find a good 10-12 inches of snow on the ground, warmed the trike up everything was perfect, went riding for a good hour with my buddies, the trike barley makes it threw the snow but with me on the wheelie bar and the front tire just skimming along the snow she makes it. (friends on snowmobiles)

but now i got some carb issues, i haven't really looked at it yet cause i was having to much fun and then came inside to warm up.
I will be riding it and everything is normal and i will come to a stop, it idles normal but maybe a bit high (thats how i like it for better throttle response) then after idling for 15 seconds the idle will drop to the edge of stalling. it keeps idling and doesn't stall but its just barley running. then if i hit the throttle it will either stall or struggle to climb up to high rpm, but once there it runs fine and revs normal, then if i let off the gas it goes back to normal idle for a good 10-15 seconds then just drops to that very low idle.
i tried turning up the idle screw when it was at low idle and it barley helped before turning it so much it was stalling. also when i start it warmed up i dont need to gas it and it just fires up, but now i must give it throttle to start.

any idea? im just gonna ride it as is till tonight when the fun is over and then take it apart. hopfully the pilot is just clogged a little and will clear itself as i ride it.

It's the same old stuff....

ALL these trikes should run an inline fuel filter, forget the old stock/plugged up stuff. I prefer to remove them, allow full flow and install one I can replace. This is especially true if you have a metal tank with any rust i it or on the gas cap.

This ethanol is no help, I try to use my fuel within a month, so far/so good.

If it doesn't clean itself out just take the carb off, REMOVE all the jets and spray carb cleaner like a madman!! You'll be good to roll on 3....................

exactly that stupid screen is gone off the side of the carb and a inline filter was installed.

I had something similar happen to me. That screen on the side of the carb got completely plugged with rust. Take your carb apart and clean everything out. I would put a full kit in it while you've got it apart.
