besides my 84 atc110 running great, i had a 1986 trx200 that had the chain break into the case, i rammed into the back of a rancher 350, and beat the crap out of it so bad. still ran when i sold it, went threw about half a qt of oil a day because of the leaks and it burned oil so bad, i actually had 2, the extra for parts and when i rammed the rancher the right A arm was smashed along with sum frame bending, so we bolted up the extra A arm and left the frame, so the right tire was about 5 inches farther back then the other, but she still turned fine and went strait, it had no plastics, and no muffler, OPEN HEADERS. it was a fun time and my first quad, when learning to ride i would leave it in 3rd and just bounce off the limiter because i didnt know how to shift.
oh and i also drove it into a pond leaving the front fully submerged but left the air box dry by less that half a foot. lol omg sooo many memories are coming back to me now. hahaha it was my child hood. me and the naiborhood kids would paint it different colors randomly in our free time with our fathers spare spray paint, so every week it had some new color on it. no seat cover so we duct taped the foam on, blown shocks all around so it would buck u up off the seat every big bump. no breaks after some time so i would just shift down to stop, oh i could go on and on.

i had a honda 70 it was fun but the points ignition was a bust, the 110 was tough as nails and lasted 20 yrs of abuse. but the klt 185 i have now takes the cake by far!! its rolled down the daniel trail at uhwarrie been sunk for days, its just one tough ass ride. my 77 suzuki rm80 was ridiculous as well 4yrs on 1 piston!!

my 200s was the toughest piece of machine i've ever laid eyes on. the chain put 3 holes in the caseing. it was ran dry on oil once and seized. it unseized then was used as a submarine and sunk about 20 times. and it was run on a 50/50 mixture of used motor oil and water. i sold it for 200 and later the guy said the cam seized go figure

My first 84 200X that I had to share with my 3 siblings. I once saw the trike complete a 4th gear backflip over a ramped up snowbank with my older brother no longer on it. It took a hard hit by a car at 35mph, that blew a stopsign while I was crossing the road to continue on the trail (I couldn't walk for 9 months). I rode it around for half a day when I was a kid and my father stopped me because he noticed it was smoking (it had about a 1/4 of a quart of oil left in it). It still ran like a champ after going through 4 kids and all that abuse.

Used motor oil and water? How'd that work? Water and oil won't actually blend, and become one homogeneous mixture. How bad did it smoke?

you wouldnt believe the smoke, it was like a smoke grenade. the oil was always a nice milk colour
My 110 and I had quite a few spills over the years. The worse was when I was blasting though the yard and hit a tree with the right rear wheel. I flew quite a few feet before landing and the 110 had climbed the tree. It was still running when I got back to it. About the only thing that kept it together was the chain. The rear end had nearly been torn all the way out but we were able to put it back together and I continued to ride it for a number of years before it was parked in the barn. Fast forward 16 years and I pull it out without a spark. I found a broke wire, fixed it gave it a pull and had spark. I haven't gotten it running yet (gas tank needs cleaned) but everything is looking up for the reawakening of my old 110.
I'd say it's a pretty tough little trike!

Well it wasnt mine, but a guy I went biknig with alot. He paid $1000 for a near mint '84 200es and just after buying it rolled it a few times, a few months later he painted the mint fenders with origanal stickers all camo spray bombed ONTOP OF MUD!! so once the mud chiped there were big chunkcs of red. After driving the h311 out of it for more than a year, the rear end was falling out, bearings were shot, rign gear has 6 teeth chiped, front end was bent and the seals were shot, motor mounts were broke, poured out oil, had to jump start it everytime and the exhaust was falling off. But still ran and drove and he drove it like that for about 6 months before all the oil poured out going wide open and locked the top end up. We always use to say that thing should have been in a Honda museum because of what it went through and still ran lol

I have a friend with a 2003 (i think) honda rancher 350 esp, all its had is normal maintenance, new breaks, new tires, and new angle sensor for the shifter (damn electric shift) and it has over 10,000 miles on it and is still going very strong, this is actually the rancher i mentioned ramming on the TRX200 above, so it also has a new oem silencer and differential case, because i smashed the old ones with the 200. haha but we would joke saying we should send in a picture of it with the 10,000 miles on it and honda would send a new one. haha but this machine was abused and ridden hard (he tries keeping up with raptors, banshees and 400EXs on it, and does it successfully on the trails) and has always worked. oh and one time fell threw the ice and was in water up to its racks, luckly water didnt do much damage, just aired it out and changed all the liquids, haha runs great today
