picked the pile of parts up the other day:D. not going to say its mint because there is a small, small tear on the front of the seat and could use a nos set of tires. there isn't a scratch on the skid plates. couple minor rubs on the oem plastics. steering lock/helmet holder funtional. the pics don't do it any justice. can't take it outside for better pics due to bad weather. i can't believe how clean this thing is. no dents in tank either. i don't plan on riding this much at all.

I seen this and was like "whoa, it has everything" but, I didn't see those little pieces of plastic that sit on the tank towards to seat. does it have those?

looks like it was ridden on pavement only--beat tires, everything else spotless. very nice find. take care of that machine, they are getting harder to find in that shape

found it on craigslist, then someone posted a link here. what the hell let me email him.

DC, no funds were needed. i couldn't afford the asking price. i traded a 85 R and 85 Red for it. Also, i hope you can get back onyour feet again. something will come around for ya.

well i finally got my cover in. fits like a glove. this thing even smells new. i know its from 84-85, but for 38 bucks i am not complaining one bit. also got the original box it came in. should i use it or put it away for a rainy day? i will have the rubber for the fender supports tomorrow as well.

This raises the age old question ...do we buy these to look at or to ride ? I have a red so nice I worry when I drive it but, who am I saving it for ? the guys on this web site in 25 years from now so they can say they bought it off an old man (me) barely used...lol

You stole that cover!

To ride or not to ride? Maybe ride it gently and have another one to ride hard... I don't know.
