Man that is some nice HD!!! Must be nice to get a few nice runs in on that ice. Also I think you made the camera wet itself. And another thing I thought you had a headlight when you came at the camera you were moving that fast the first time I watched it.
That put a smile on my face and a frown on the woman's, had the audio up a bit on the surround. hehe.

Thanks guys!
Right after I did the video, I took a handheld GPS and timed myself going down the lake. My first attempt at taping the thing on the handle bars failed miserably, so I one handed it. I got up to 82mph, which was close to full, and I wasn't tucked in, and had to let go cause I was scared driving with one hand. I am pretty sure on a smooth surface, all tucked in I could hit 90, which isn't bad for a 250cc bike, with stock cylinder, and head.

I was pretty amazed when I had the gps in my hand, and I was in 6th gear just cruising along, not much above idle, and I was doing 62mph. Didn't feel like it. I probably passed the camera doing 70 or so. I came as close as I dare, probably less than 2 feet.

Remember the kid on the trike in the driveway on The Incredibles? That was me when I watched you fly by the camera at 70mph!

THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!

Oh, I forgot to ask a question...or two. What camera are you using? Also, I always assumed HD simply meant higher resolution, but after watching that slow motion video, it seems to me the frame rate is higher too...is that right?

I am using a Casio EXFH-20. It is a high speed camera. The HD video is shot in 720P, and the slow motion stuff is like 480x360@210fps. I can shoot at 420fps, and 1000fps, but the quality of the image goes down after that. I paid over $300 for that camera, but now Casio has a compact line of the camera, I got one for my son for like $179, just go check out Casio's web-site, and look up their high speed camera stuff. If you click on my user profile on youtube, I have a bunch of slow-motion stuff, like slot car drags, and bees wings flapping, etc.

BTW, if you guys think I am fast, I am probably the slowest out of the guys I ride with here, they kick butt.

Awesome video! I've got to get out on the ice some time! Do you stud the front tire as well? I think I'll get a set ready so when the opportunity arises, I'll be ready.

Yes, we stud the front. Getting the proper ice tire is not always easy, better to be prepared. We can help with the setup.
