This has been taking some time due to the condition of the fender but it's coming along! The finish is looking very nice ,very shiny !! I still have some inperfections and have to go back and sand with the 2000 grit on some spots, as you may be able to see on the front corner of the fender. It was in pretty bad shape and had weather cracks. I USED ABSOLUTELY NO WAX OR COMPOUNDS. I will post a complete step by step process with pictures when I'm finished. This is a OEM 1985 ATC350X fender.

I'm taking a break right now, This is probably as bad as they get, this fender was in real real bad shape. I had to sand sand and sand on this one, it was so weather cracked and flaking off at the top of the fender. When I'm done , I will rate it at a 9.5 and 10 being perfect but it's very close. I will do another that will not have weather cracks and it will be a 10. This process works. well,,,back at it!

I'm guessing this is all with 2000 grit wet sand paper and that $30 buffer?

I can't find it anywhere (sandpaper). Highest I can find is 1000. May have to order online.

My dilemma now is how to do this if I want to paint it another color, and a fix a crack with Bondo.

They have that paper in Auto Parts shops and specifically body work suppliers.

Walk into man auto badoy shop and ask for help. Be kind, be nice, smile and then shoot rocks spinning your wheels when you leave J/K - Thats why were MASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Corsini's in Middleboro has the stuff (They are not even a true Auto Body supplier, if I had a FKNG job!! I'd get you some and meet up somewhere........ Does EBAY have it? can't cost much to ship that stuff!!

THANK YOU OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
