Will 83 atc250r engine come out without removing swingarm

Just purchased an 83 atc250r and I cannot get the swing arm bolt to come out. I have pounded and pounded on it with a brass punch with no luck. Is there any way to remove the engine with the swing arm still attached?

Even that thought/picture in my mind - is horrible!!

Spread the frame as little as possible and sawzall the swinger bolt off - then deal with it.......

I just removed mine yesterday,bolt seized....no way to remove it.So i cut the bolt,will be easier to remove the bolt on the hydraulic press with only the swingarm.

did you try the double sledge? 3# (duct taped offcourse!!!) on the bolt and hit it with a 5# mall (duct taped for safty)?

Your going to destroy the bolt either way. Tip the bike on its side and soak the bolt with PB blaster for a couple days, get a steel sledge hammer and hope to get lucky.
